At Fountain Montessori Pre-School
we create a warm, nurturing classroom environment for children ages 12 months to 6 years. Within our close-knit community, students develop independence, respect, creativity, and a sense of self. Students are able to learn at their own pace, with guidance from Montessori certified teachers.
All our programs are run by fully qualified "Directresses" and they are supported by other staff with relevant childcare qualifications and experience suitable to the age of children in their care.
All other members of staff hold relevant qualifications and experience for their jobs and all our staff are fully checked by the police to ensure their suitability to work with children in accordance to the Children’s Act 1989.
Our founder Arike Aiyetigbo
received her International Diploma from the
Montessori Centre International in London, She taught at Woodentots
Montessori School in North London, her special interests are science and
maths. She is totally committed to the Montessori philosophy.
Prior to
becoming involved in education Arike worked as a Chartered Management
Accountant (ACMA) in private industry in various roles; she holds a Masters
degree specialising in Social and Environmental Accounting from the
University of Dundee in Scotland. She worked as a Sunday school leader for
four years at the London City Church.
